Variable products allow users to personalize and customize documents online. If you are not Pageflex certified, Four51 can create templates for you. Submit your requests below. If you are interested in becoming Pageflex certified, contact your Four51 sales representative.
Stop! Before submitting your request, collect all necessary information
and artwork files.
Read our instructions document to understand the request and implementation
process.The more you provide us upfront, the faster we can
process your request. Failure to provide necessary information and artwork
will cause delays completing your request. Do the following to prepare
your request:
- Make a list of all the templates you want setup.
- Setup the buyer company and categories on your Four51 administration
interface.
- For each template, collect the following information:
- Product ID, Name and Description.
- Access information. Will the item be available to all users, a
specific group or individual persons?
- Define product pricing.
- Identify the supplier (if any) to whom you will be sourcing the product.
- Discuss with your customer the variable requirements of the document.
- Determine production file requirements. For example, does the
document require crop marks or a bleed? Is it being printed digitally,
or on an imprint/shell program?
- Collect all digital artwork files. Four51 requires the following for each
template. If you cannot meet these requirements, additional fees and
delays will occur.
- Native Design Files: Four51 accepts only Quark or InDesign. Files
should contain all textual and graphical elements. Please be advised
that Four51 is not a design firm and does not perform graphic services, such
as layout creation, image or logo modification, etc. Designs should
contain the maximum amount of information possible.
- Include all linked images for each design file. Acceptable formats
include EPS, TIFF, JPG, GIF, or PDF. Ensure that your images are print
ready. Four51 does not modify images. Be sure colors are applied
correctly.
- If available, provide a PDF proof for each template.
The request process is a three step process. You must complete all
three steps before Four51 can begin processing your request.
